About Jessica Butler, Attachment-Focused Trauma Therapist in St. Petersburg, FL,
and Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I provide counseling for individuals and families, specializing in attachment oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and EMDR. I have worked with individuals and families that struggle with anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, substance abuse, and abusive relationships. In addition, I have experience working with children that are struggling with adoption and adults reflecting on their adoption experience. By utilizing an individualized insight-oriented approach, I aim to help both children and adults process emotions and achieve positive progress. I am a strong believer of the mind/body/spirit connection.
I have lived in Florida all of my life and I am a Florida girl at my core. I attended Stetson University for my undergraduate degree and majored in Psychology and Health Sciences. I then graduated with my Master of Social Work from University of South Florida. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I have experience working in child welfare and in hospital settings as well, with focuses in Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care (Level 4), and Pediatric Oncology. I have a diverse range of experiences that have helped me experience the world through many perspectives.
