When Trauma Patterns Keep Repeating

Trauma and attachment wounds can shape how we experience the world, influencing emotional regulation, behaviors, and how we relate to ourselves and others. You may feel stuck in recurring patterns, struggle with anxiety, or carry grief and unresolved emotions from past experiences. Therapy offers a safe space to explore these challenges and work toward lasting change.

Whether you are seeking support for your child struggling with early experiences, a young adult navigating life transitions, or a high-functioning adult looking to take the time to better understand yourself, therapy can help you uncover and heal the roots of your patterns.

Who Benefits from this Approach

Children

Kids may experiences anxiety, behavioral challenges, or emotional difficulties due to tough experiences. Early therapy can help build resilience and set the stage for healthier emotional development.

Perfectionistic/High Functioning Individuals

Adults, teens, and kids who are high-functioning may appear outwardly capable while carrying unresolved trauma and attachment wounds internally. Therapy helps explore these hidden patterns and fosters deeper self awareness and emotional balance.

Adults

Individuals navigating complex emotional challenges, grief, or past trauma can find support in working through these experiences in a safe, guided setting.

How We Implement This Approach

I take an attachment-oriented, insight-driven approach to therapy. By understanding how early experiences shape current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, we can address the underlying causes of distress rather than just surface symptoms.

I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients:

Explore and understand their internal parts and emotional systems

Process traumatic experiences safely

Develop new strategies for emotional regulation and self-understanding

This approach is tailored to each client - child, teen, or adult
